Golden Oyster Mushroom Hand Roll Temaki

  • 1 packet Golden Oyster Mushroom
  • 1 cups cooked Japanese rice
  • 2 tbsp sushi rice vinegar, or to taste
  • 2 gm salt, or to taste
  • 6 gm sugar, or to taste
  • Carrot, to serve
  • Cucumber, to serve
  • Wasabi, to serve
  • Mayonnaise, to serve
  • 6 rectangular sized Nori seaweed


  1. Deep fry the Golden Oyster Mushroom at 180 degrees Celcius for 2-3 minutes
  2. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  3. Season hot rice with vinegar, salt and sugar
  4. Add toasted sesame seeds
  5. Cut a piece of nori into a rectangular shape
  6. Form the rice into a sausage shape and place it at a 45 degree angle on one side of the nori
  7. Pressed and flatten the center of the rice.
  8. Spread little Wasabi Mayonezu on the rice.
  9. Place a piece of fried Golden Oyster Mushroom, pickled carrot and cucumber on top of the rice
  10. Roll the temaki starting with the end of the nori at a 45 degree angle.Serve fresh immediately.
